Drink Beer, Fight Cancer

Cheers to beer lovers!

A German study has indicated that xanthohumol, a key ingredient of beer, may contain a cancer-fighting substance. Xanthohumol, found in hops, inhibits a family of enzymes that can trigger the cancer process, as well as aid the body detoxify carcinogens. Additional studies also prove that xanthohumol can kill breast, colon, ovarian and prostate cancers. It has proved itself to be a very active substance against cancer.

Xanthohumol contains more powerful antioxidants than vitamin E and some studies indicate it helps to reduce oxidation of bad cholesterol.

BUT… you’ll end up an alcoholic before getting enough xanthohumol as 60 regular beers are required to match the amount of xanthohumol in a super beer brewed by the German researchers.

Well, since you already love beer (that was what attracted you to read this, wasn’t it?)… …

Cheers to beer lovers!!
